The 08 is shaped slightly smaller than the 03, more in line with the 05 and features a truly unique finish and grind. The leading edge is ground tight to enable clean strikes from tight lies. The unique grind make this one the most versatile wedges in the world.
The RAFW-08 is made from JIS S25C Carbon Steel which does not require milling so the grooves are stamped.
Designed for the player that needs to control the spin on the the ball. The face finish is designed to control the amount of spin put on the ball. The face is completely smooth with no sandblasted impact area. If you need to have complete control of the ball when it lands and tend to be wary of spinning it back this is ideal.
NON-CONFORMING grooves, legal for amateur use unitl 2024.
