Epon Golf introduces it's all new Utility Iron for 2008! The new AF-901 is for those looking for a versatile, easy to hit replacement for their long irons without sacrivicing feel and playability. The AF-901 is a high strength one piece hollow forging made from soft S20C steel. The body is matched with a high strength Asroll stainless steel face with COR over 0.80 that creates high ball speeds on impact. The back cavity brings CG lower, making it eay to get the ball up in the air. CG is also placed closer towards the heel allowing the club head to rotate more easily. The AF-901 is versatile and forgiving and designed to play from any lie, combining feel, control and performance in a clean looking package.
The AF-901 is available in three lofts, 19, 22 and 25* and comes shafted as standard with Shimada K's 3001 steel (89g Regular or 94g Stiff) or Mach Line UT370 Graphite (specs below) as an upgrade.
