Introducing the Chikara Designs Prototype V2 Wedge. The wedges feature a custom grind by master grinder, Carlton Masui. These clubs are one of the first in the world to use a unique forging process which softens the feel of the hit while still delivering all the same power as regular clubs. Other features include S25C head material, double punched grooves, and a 5 cut sole for cleaner ball contact and multiple shot play.
They come in lofts of 52°, 57°, and 60°. The standard shaft is the Dynamic Gold S-400 black and the grip is the Lamkin Crossline black, contact us for other shaft & grip options including KB Tour Black Nickel.

You may not know the name Carlton Masui, but chances are good you’ve run across his products.
Masui has worked for Gauge Design in Japan and helped design wedges and putters. He left the company in the late ’90’s but has opened a shop in Hawaii and has been doing quality club work since 2006.
Masui has become famous for building clubs and grinding wedges for teen phenom Tadd Fujikawa. Masui’s most recent adventure - releasing the Chikara Designs line which begins his own line of production wedges. This is not your typical run of the mill sand wedge. Everything about the club is performance oriented, from the forging process it’s made from to it’s pronounced sole grind and head shape.
